StudioGen offers a residency for up to five early and mid-stage founders building companies that require both strategic clarity and brand infrastructure. Residents receive dedicated office space in Midtown Manhattan, access to a fully equipped podcast and content studio, monthly marketing support, ongoing advisory with Roy Weathers, and the peer community of a deliberately small cohort.
The Residency is an extension of how we already work — closely, strategically, and with a bias toward founders who take both their business and their brand seriously.
The StudioGen Founder-in-Residence Program was created to address a gap we observed repeatedly in our work with early and growth-stage companies: founders with strong products and real traction who lacked the physical infrastructure, marketing support, and senior advisory to match the pace of what they were building.
StudioGen was founded by Roy Weathers, former Vice Chair of a Big 5 consulting firm and member of the firm's U.S. Leadership Team, and Divy Kedia, an award-winning creative director with over a decade of experience building brand systems for companies at every stage.
The program is limited to five founders per cohort. Each is selected based on the strength of the business, the clarity of the founder's vision, and the degree to which StudioGen's capabilities can meaningfully accelerate their trajectory.
Each resident receives dedicated space, production resources, direct marketing support, and senior advisory — structured to accelerate the specific stage they're in.
Full access to StudioGen's 3,000-square-foot private office in Midtown Manhattan, including dedicated desk space, meeting areas, and a professional environment suitable for investor meetings, team collaboration, and focused work.
A soundproofed, fully equipped recording space designed for long-form interviews, founder-led content, investor communications, and audio production.
A production-ready studio with professional lighting, camera equipment, and backdrops — available to residents for brand content, social media production,
and video work.
Ten hours per month of direct marketing support from the StudioGen team. Applied to brand strategy, design, lifecycle marketing, paid media, or content development — structured as working sessions, not advisory calls.
A dedicated monthly session with Roy Weathers — more than three decades as Vice Chair at a Big 5 consulting firm, Global Tax Leadership Team, board positions at Carnegie Hall and The Pinkerton Foundation, and leadership of CEO Action for Racial Equity. Focused on business trajectory, decision-making, and the strategic questions that shape the next stage of growth.
The Residency is structured as a cohort of five. This is deliberate. The founders selected work from the same office, share the same resources, and build alongside one another over the course of the residency.

The value of this is not abstract. Founders at similar stages face similar decisions — about hiring, positioning, fundraising, pricing, partnerships, and when to say no.
A cohort of five is small enough to build real trust and large enough to generate the kind of perspective that founders working in isolation rarely have access to.
The StudioGen team facilitates this environment, but the relationships between residents are theirs to build. Some of the most important conversations happen between sessions, not during them.
Each founder is selected based on the strength of the business, the clarity of their vision, and the degree to which StudioGen's capabilities can meaningfully accelerate their trajectory.
